This time I picked up the track ‘The Look’ by Metronomy. It’s taken from their latest album ‘The English Riviera’.
If you’re into electropop, I recommend to give it a listen. It’s an authentic textbook on how electropop is properly done.

In another one of my browsings through La Blogotheque, I stumbled upon this marvellous Take Away Show, a Blogueteque concept where they put bands performing free style in the street, in a bar, etc.

In this edition, the performance is in charge of the band !!! (Chk Chk Chk). When you combine simplicity and great tunes, you get this wonderful display.

As a Beatles fan I just had to share this. “Ten Great Years”, a brilliant poster made by Max Dalton.

This picture instantly reminds me of this quote wandering around the web:
“My band is so underground they haven’t even formed yet.”

But I got to say that I’m not the kind of guy that listens to a particular song or band just because they’re the “latest trend” or because they’re so underground that nobody knows them.

I prefer to listen to music that sounds and feels right to me, either musically or lyrically (or both), old or new, commercial or not. And, in my opinion, people should stand by this principal too.
Well… except if the band in question actually performs on the Leno show!
